Tell me everything you know about the desert.

I can't have that, especially since the reason I'm doing this doesn't involve you. I don't want you endangering yourself for me. So stay put!

I will do what I need to do if things get out of hand. I am through with sitting around and not being able to help those that need it. So I repeat myself.
If you're not back in a week, I will find you.

It doesn't take a week to cross a desert, Takuma!

If the desert is endless like people have said before, then it would take far more than a week to cross! If you planned on hiking for a day and a half then turning around for the remaining time and make the trip three days, then that would be fine, but you're planning on going to the other side of something that might not have another side.
So you'd be wandering the desert until you are inches from death, I can't let that happen and I won't!
Don't argue with me, Kamui.

I'm not trying to upset you. But you should already know why I'm trying to cross this desert.

I know.... I know why...
But if Subaru-san is the type of person I think he is, he wouldn't want you hurting yourself, either.
I know you're capable of taking care of yourself, but I still worry about your safety.
Somarium is tricky. Very tricky. And...to be honest and rather blunt on my part, I haven't heard of anyone finding a way to wake themselves up. Perhaps you may find one in your trek, but the chances are still low.
I just...I just want to make sure you know that someone has your back in case things go awry. You've got friends here.

And I already know that trying to leave here is impossible. But as you said earlier of not wanting to sit around. I can't just stand still and do nothing. I have to do something. I have to try.
I'll acknowledge that you are there for me. But I can't make a 360 change like that. You have to give me time. I've always had to rely on myself. It wouldn't be easy to ask for help.

Do what you must, Kamui.
[There's a short, light breath that's somewhat of a hollow laugh]
You're really like Kiryuu-kun from back home. Very strong, determined, and not afraid of doing what you feel is right. It's respectable.
[There's a pause]
You won't have to ask for help, Kamui. I wouldn't ask you to do something you don't want. I'll also do what I feel is right as you are.

Then do what you want as well.If you want to follow me, then I won't stop you.
And I'll keep you posted every now and then. The dreamberry should work out there.

[There's a smile in his voice, however]
All right. I would like that.
When do you plan on leaving?

No doubt you'll be well prepared.
Do your best out there.

[Pauses]
...thank you, Takuma.
