Video 003 - A rude awakening

[There it was just sitting there. A large pumpkin taking up most of the space of a bed. Not too far from the bed was a dark haired young man, glaring at the starchy vegetable. His blue eyes were red and there were dark circles underneath them as if he had been woken up abruptly. The brunette eyes narrowed, his blue eyes acting as daggers as he looked at the mysterious pumpkin.]

I want to know who did this.

[If Kamui was in the right state of mind, he would have known no one had done this. His door was locked, his room was much too high for anyone to climb. Plus the window was much too small to push a pumpkin through. And the vegetable was much too heavy for just anyone to carry. It had to be one of those weird occurrences that Somarium did every once in a while. But no, he was already in a rage, and sense wasn't connecting.

Kamui's face turned toward the dreamberry, knowing it was on . His usually blue pupils swirling with a golden color.]

But I have a better idea. I'll take my revenge in a more productive, and delicious way. That pumpkin should be good enough for a couple of pies,right?

Yes... or I suppose so, I don't know how many pumpkins it takes for a proper pie.

[Glaring at the pumpkin.]

It's pretty big, and heavy. We probably could make two or three with that.

We should get Makoto! She would know how to cook them! Oh I haven't had pumpkin pie in ages.

Fine with me, I don't know how to cook...well. But I get the pleasure of cutting it.

Then we'll let you cut the pumpkins. We'll arrange for some pumpkin pies. If we have too much I know the staff at the Academy are always fond of food.

Sounds like a plan. If you give any to your staff make sure Kio gets some.

I heard they're popping up everywhere. [He balances the pumpkin with one hand, moving to run a hand through Serenity's long tresses.]

Who knows. They might end up in your hair.

I've been called meatball and muffin head, pumpkin-head would be nothing new.

Meatball and muffin head? [Kamui looks confused.] Why?

[She points to the odango's sitting atop her head.] I've had this style since I was a very little girl.

...Well children are certainly creative.

Mamoru was one of the first to give me the nickname, actually, when I was 14.

Mamoru? So it's an endearing name?

[She giggles as they continue towards the kitchen.]

[Finally getting to the kitchen, Kamui sets the pumpkin onto the counter.]

...Guess he was just trying to get your attention. [Smirks] It worked, right?

Well... actually I got his attention first... [Oh goodness, the day she had met Mamoru... what a day for the little cry-baby she had been.]

Now then, I believe there is a mean ol' pumpkin that needs cutting.

You did? [That was a surprise.

Looking at the pumpkin. That was right there was a vendetta he had with the giant.]
