Video 002 - Small feet in an unknown world

[waitsforbrother]

[The video feed activates showing a small boy,about the age of seven, sitting up in bed, looking around bewildered. Once his eyes confirms that nothing looks familiar, the young boy starts looking around the bed frantically. Searching under the sheets and checking under the bed. He whispers into the dark.]

Subaru. Subaru, where are you?

[He stops when he realizes that the person he is looking for is not here. He looks even more uneasy and panicked then before. He cautious steps out this strange bed and went ti the door. Opening it a crack and whispering out for Subaru. But no one answered.

He returns to the room, noticing the glow of the dream berry device not too far away. He warily walks over to the device, picking it up and examining. It seems even the young boy knows how to operate it, he looks directly into the camera.]

W-where is this place? Who brought me here? And what have you done with Subaru?

[That was a good question. He was in a room as far as he knew. And then he noticed a window and looked outside it. Was those cottages?]

Well I see a lot of cottages around, but I don't think I'm in one. I'm definitely in something higher. Like an estate.

That means that you're in Espior [or so he hopes] I'll head that way then and figure out where you are. We can also stop by the store on the way home and get a few things for you too.

Espoir? [Kamui says looking out the window and then turns back to the device.] I can come outside too.

It's the name of the small village in the middle of Somarium. There's a larger city on the outside of it. [Kio's already locked the door and headed out the front of the apartment complex.]

Ahh that would probably be good, there's a small bridge that if you could find it would be around half way.

A small bridge? Okay. I'll find it. [Kamui is going off to find this bridge, it was still daylight, so it shouldn't be that hard. Leaving the place he was was pretty simple, since no had stopped him from leaving. Maybe it was vacant.]

[It only takes Kio five or ten minutes to make his way from the apartment to the where the bridge was since he was hurrying. He wasn't entirely sure what he would do, but he wanted to make sure that Kamui would be taken care of. After all they were friends and Kamui had done a lot for him.

Approaching the bridge he looked around for the child.]

[Kamui was just getting there. Being able to navigate through the village and being slightly distracted by his new surroundings made the journey to his destination a bit longer.

As Kamui approaches the bridge,he spots the blonde.] I'm here. Do you live nearby? It didn't take you long to get here.

It's not very far from here, the third district is actually just back over there. [Kio pointed back towards the city where the apartment was. It was actually a lot closer than most of the apartments that were in the first district.]

[Looking towards the direction Kio pointed in, Kamui could clearly see a few buildings in the distance.]

I see. So you live in one of those tall buildings? [Secretly, Kamui liked heights, but he's not telling you that.] Are we going to the store now?

Yep, I live on the eleventh floor of one of the apartments. [Which had been great when most of the city had flooded since it meant that everything stayed safe.]

Unless you would rather go straight back, I figured we could pick up anything that you needed while we were out.

I don't need anything. [Kamui replies. He doubts this world has what he needed anyway. He starts walking in the direction that Kio came from.] What am I like when I'm older?

You sure, we could pick up some tablets for you, or maybe something to snack on that doesn't taste bitter or something.

[Hmm. . . what was he like when he was older.] Well Kamu-chan is really strong for one thing. You're pretty quiet too and don't like large crowds or being around a lot of people.

Tablets? Why-- [Kamui shook his head.] ...I don't need it. I ate before I arrived here. But it's strange you would have tablets here. We stopped using those a long time ago.

[Now do you mention bitter stuff...] So you don't have chocolate?

Then I haven't changed much at all.[ The young Kamui realizes.]

[Kio laughed awkwardly for a moment.] Well where I'm from we don't have tablets or clones. But there is chocolate~

[Magically pulling a chupa-chup out of his pocket Kio offers it to the chibi as well.] Pudding's actually the best flavor but they have a lot of others, and there's all kind of chocolates at the store.

I guess you are kind of the same, though you get a lot more stubborn too.

[Kamui looks curiously at this pop, before taking it into his hand. What was this strange thing?

He unwraps it, placing it into his mouth. This weird thing was pretty good.] What is this?

It's a chupa-chup, they're really good lollipops that come in all kind of flavors. [Kio smiles pulling one out for himself, he almost always had one on him though occasionally he would have seaweed or something to snack on instead.]

Chupa-chup? That's a strange name. But I like it. [ Kamui seems content with the pop for now. Even if he was a vampire, he still liked sugar like any other kid.] What other flavors are there?

Almost any flavor that you can think of. There's classic ones like strawberry and watermelon, but then they have ones like pudding, soda pop, and ramune.

There's a normal peach and a peaches and cream one. [Figures that they can get a few of them once they reach the store. Maybe even pick up a few sodas too so that they would have something other than tea.]

Well they have rice cakes, gummy bears, and some kind of jerky. Though there's also a lot of things that I've never seen before and haven't gotten around to trying yet either. [When a world pulled from all different places there were bond to be a few items people were unfamiliar with.]
