[ Itachi was in the kitchen, one boiling pot on the stove and a simmering pan of sauce. He looked like he was concentrating rather hard on his task. Cooking took a lot out of him. At the moment, he was cutting up a tomato, the slices precise. ]

[ Hugin cawed just before Kamui opened the door, and the ninja hummed faintly as Kamui came inside. ]

[The vampire paused at the "welcome back", staring at Itachi's back for a moment before continuing over to the counter. He didn't know what to say to that, feeling a bit of shyness all of a sudden.] ......

[Kamui set the plastic bag on the counter taking out the pasta. The water was boiling, ready for he noodles to be placed in and it seem the shinobi already started in preparing the sauce.]

I don't need it... [ Itachi started as he cut up the tomato. ] ...But it is always appreciated.

[Kamui didn't push it any further, and just allowed Itachi to cook. It was probably a good idea anyhow,something was bound the catch on fire in his hands.

So he sat back down and waited for the ninja to finish.]

[ Itachi put the pasta in the boiling water to allow it to cook. The ninja looked rather determined in his project, though his face remained calm as he worked. Soon, the sauce was simmering and the pasta cooked. Itachi pulled out the plates, slowly dishing out the meal. He looked at it for a moment in contemplation, letting out a small cough into his fist. That felt too easy. Would it be good? ]

[ Itachi looked back to Kamui, before looking down at the sauce. From the empty sauce pan, he slicked up a bit carefully so he didn't burn himself, and tasted it. ]

[ ... It didn't taste bad, but it wasn't something he was used to. Kamui would be a better judge than him. Itachi picked up the plates and forks, walking over and setting them down. ]

...I made tea as well, if you'd like some. Its green, though. [ He didn't know how that would go with pasta. ] ...There's also water, and orange juice.

[Kamui looked to the pasta placed before him, it looked good from what he saw. As for what to drink it with it...well Kamui didn't have any preferences. If there was something that went better with pasta than tea, he really didn't care that much. Food was really for survival, or in these circumstances, something to do with company.]

...Tea is fine. [ He picks up his fork, stabbing into the pile of pasta and twirling some on to his fork. Once it fully twined, he tried it. It was delicious. The noodles was perfect, just the right amount of softness and the sauce was savory.] ....I like it.

[ That was actually a big compliment, since Kamui never admitted to liking anything.]

[ After serving the two of them tea and setting the cups down at their places, Itachi sat down with his own plate. The shinobi tried the spaghetti fully, now that it was completed. While it didn't taste bad, it tasted... different. It was something he could get used to, though. ]

...So do I... I think. Its... different from what I'm used to eating. [ The ninja offered a nod. ]

...Thank you. Kamui was eating it... so that was enough for him. ]

[ Twirling some more on to his fork, he considers wh it could be different for Itachi. He was probably used to a more...Japanese diet,or even accustomed to eating more sweeter things.]

...I'm sure you can tweak it to your tastes, if you wanted to. Some sauces can be pretty sweet.

...My world? No, I've really only had this here.[And those other worlds he's been to.]

Food in my world was pretty simplistic. A very provincial lifestyle.
